FAQ's

How long will the suit fitting take?

The length of the consultation will vary, but will generally take 30 minutes to one hour. After the consultation, you can expect your order at your door within no more than 4 weeks.

How do you obtain my measurements?

During the consultation, we will take all the measurements required. Even if it's just shirts you're after, we'll measure you for a full suit - you never know when you might want to order one in the future.

How will my suit be delivered?

Once your suit is ready, it will be sent to you by courier.

What area do you cover?

At the present time, we only cover Sussex. If you live on a county bordering Sussex, please enquire anyway. We may still be able to accommodate you.

I live outside Sussex. Can I forward my own measurements?

Though some tailors will do business in this way, we are reluctant to do this. Even though the basic measurements required are quite simple to take, consistency is key. The fitter and the cutter master work as a partnership; both know each other's characteristics. This means we can ensure that what you want translates into the perfect tailored fit.

Are there any hidden costs?

No. The price depends on fabric. Any design features you select are all part of what makes a bespoke suit. So, if you want a double breasted suit, your initials monogrammed on your shirt, or a dazzling pink jacket lining, we can provide all of these at no extra cost. Our consultations are free, and there's no obligation to buy. Insured delivery of your finished garment is also included.

Do you need to take my measurements every time I want to order?

No. Once your measurements are on our records, future garments can be ordered to the same fit. Naturally though, if the suit you ordered from us two years ago no longer fits, then it might be wise to have another consultation!

How should I care for my suit?

As with any high end suit, it should be professionally dry cleaned. The more a suit is cleaned, the more it will age, so if it's a suit that you find yourself wearing often, perhaps a second pair of trousers would be useful. This will help prolong the life of the suit.
